The Ferrari Challenge Race Series is the oldest manufacturers race series in the world. Over the past 30 years, 1,000 drivers have participated and raced at some to the most exciting tracks in the world.
The series began in 1994 racing with the Ferrari 348 Berlinetta’s. Since then, the Ferrari Challenge series has evolved to span the globe with 4 official championships in the US, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the UK. The Challenge race cars have evolved with the F355 in 1995, the F360 in 2000, the F430 in 2006, F458 in 2010, and the F458 and F488 in2016, and the F488 Challenge EVO in 2020. The 2024 race session will introduce the new and exciting Ferrari 296 GTB race car.
Ferrari 296 Challenge Race Car
The 296 Challenge was unveiled at the 2023 Mugello Circuit World Finals/Finali Mondiali and will debut in this years season. It is the ninth model launched in the history of the Ferrari Challenge race series.
Derived from the 296 GTB, it introduces substantial power unit, aero and vehicle dynamics modifications.
First ever six-cylinder engine in the Challenge. The new track model sports a 2992cc V6 that unleashes up to 700 CV, with a specific power output of 234 cv/l, a new record for the segment.
Ferrari 488 EVO Challenge Race Car
When it was introduced, the 488 Challenge EVO has the best powertrain in the last 20 years of Challenge racing. The engine is a 3.9 liter V8, producing power of 670 CV, and torque of 760 Nm. The 488 Challenge EVO offers exceptional and consistent balanced track performance.
Incorporating new aerodynamic elements including new front and rear bumpers, additional aero profiles, redesigned underbody flaps, optimized rear wing profile, a new ABS braking kit and new higher performance tires all add up to increased performance and stability and ultimately faster lap times.
